The SAS 670/800 high-strength reinforcement system is an innovative product that far surpasses conventional reinforcements and is primarily used in the construction of high-rise buildings. The high-strength reinforcement system has high tensile and ultimate strength. The increased tensile force enables the construction of slender and stable structural elements saving resources and reducing costs – Convincing advantages for our customers who have since successfully installed SAS 670/800 high-strength reinforcement in numerous construction projects such as the tower of the Frankfurt Opera House (Germany), Dancing Towers in Hamburg (Germany) and the World Trade Center in New York (USA). Many other buildings are currently being designed or built.
Namely, with threaded rods in quality 670/800, the cross-section of the load-bearing columns is reduced by approx. 0.25%. In terms of quantity, the customer is supplied with a lower weight and quantity of iron rods compared to the classic construction with steel B500. In the last case, the customer gets an advantage in free sales space resulting from the construction of a smaller section of load-bearing columns.
