Base plates
Diorite system of boards for different purposes
The base plates are made from steel flat sheets (flat steel/flach). Flat sheets are cut to size using a tool (automatic press), and in the same step, the rounding is drawn out on the plate and a hole is punched, which depends on the diameter for which we use the plate. Material quality control is determined by the submitted certificate 3.1. Panels purchased from other manufacturers are made in the same way and are controlled by the manufacturer.
The Diorit company has developed its own system for the production of backing plates for various purposes. The area of application of the plates includes the following areas:
- Slope protection,
- Embankment protection,
- Protection of construction pits,
- Slope protection combined with nets
- Securing the tunnel and creating an open tunnel front.

The geometry of the base plates, material characteristics and performance of the plates are shown in the table below.

Plates with lugs for slope protection
We are able to produce backing plates according to special customer requirements. Products for such purposes are support plates for lugs and curved corners (galvanized and non-galvanized variants). Our production is able to respond to the complex demands of the market in the best way to solve the customer’s problem.
