As one of the leaders in the region in the sale and production of prestressing materials in bridge construction, tunnel construction and geotechnics, and in the provision of services for special construction works, the company Diorit d.o.o. recently successfully conducted a supervisory audit according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.<\/p>\n
The ISO 14001 standard belongs to a family of standards related to environmental management that helps organizations or companies minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment; comply with applicable laws, regulations and other environmentally oriented requirements; and are constantly improving in the above.<\/p>\n
ISO 45001 is the ISO standard for occupational health and safety management systems. The goal of ISO 45001 is to reduce injuries and occupational diseases, including improving and protecting the physical and mental health of workers.<\/p>\n
“These prestigious certificates were necessary for our company because we do not want to fall behind Europe or the world in terms of the above requirements. Our business is growing every day and as such we must be leaders in this area as well, which is to value our nature and environment and above all, to take care of our workers and their health,” say the Diorit company.<\/p>\n
